PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING “TERMS AND CONDITIONS” CAREFULLY before receiving any services from "Kilobyte PC." All services provided by me (Kilobyte PC) via telephone, internet, remotely, in-home, or on-site falls under this “Terms & Conditions”. If you do not agree to these “Terms & Conditions,” you may not access "Kilobyte PC's" services.


Service Agreement

By using “Kilobyte PC’s” service, your are confirming that you are at least 18 years old and accept all “Terms & Conditions” set forth by “Kilobyte PC.” You acknowledge that you are authorizing me (Ahmed Mostafa) to access and control your computer and it’s accessories for the purposes of computer diagnosis, services, and repairs. You also understand that it is necessary to download and install programs, files, change settings on your computer, and move files around in order to provide certain type of services. you are also granting permission to perform any tasks that is necessary to repair/ service your computer and its accessories with out any limitations.


Scope of service:

You understand that in certain situation, one or more services may not be successful due to system limitation, limited resources, and for other factors. Some situation may be out of scope and it may be impossible to solve your problems. In these cases, you understand that certain settings/ state of your computer can not be reverted back to its original state/ condition.


Authorization to Access/ control your Computer

By using "Kilobyte PC's" services you acknowledge that you are authorizing “Kilobyte PC” to access and control your computer for the purposes of computer diagnosis, services, and repairs. You are also granting me permission to download and install programs, files on to your computer. I will change settings on your computer and move files around in order to provide certain types of services and I'm not obligated to ask your permission if I don’t think it is necessary. Also, I will collect data and system information from your computer to solve your computer problem. Your personal information and credit card information will not be collected without your permission. Unless it is specified in the “Warranty” section, “Kilobyte PC” has no obligation, responsibility, and liability under any circumstances at any time for any type of loss and harm to your computer or its accessories and connected components that may occur when performing any type of services.


Backing up Data:

You understand that “Kilobyte PC” does not backup your computer’s files including but not limited to data, music, videos, programs, and others prior to providing any services except the “Data Backup” service is purchased separately and "Kilobyte PC" is not responsible for any type of loose or harm to your files, programs and other types during performing services to your computer. You are responsible for backing up your files prior to any services you receive from “Kilobyte PC.”


Payment:

All payments are due at the time of service. Payment is expected prior to service if "Remote" service is ordered. If “Kilobyte PC” finds a solution to the service which was ordered by you or your agent and suggested a solution, you are obligated to pay the “Base” charge and/ or hourly rate which will be determined by “Kilobyte PC” if you are not interested in completing the service for any reason.


Cancellation

I have the right to cancel my service(s) at any time for any reasons and purposes without obligation of letting you know the reason. I will refund your fee/ payment if I cancel or terminate my services for my inconvenience. Certainly, if I cancel or terminate my services because of violation of "Kilobyte PC's" “Terms & Condition” and for any other reason you have, you may not get a refund in full or partial. Certainly, I will make my judgment considering refunding your fee/ payment.


Use of Software/ programs

I need to install a remote software into your computer in order to support you remotely. If “In-home” or “Carry-in” services are ordered, this software will not be required. In addition, I will install various software into your computer in order to diagnose, repair your computer. I will also install software to scan, remove virus, malware, AdWare, Spyware and other software with out any limitation. I may or may not ask your permission to install these software because they are part of my procedures. All of the software I use are from third party and I'm not responsible any types of harm/ damages to your computer. Certainly, I can assure that all the software I use were installed and tested on my computer and found no known issue with them. All the software I provide to you are subject to license agreements that may appear or be referenced when you access them or I install them. You may not access "Kilobyte PC's" services if you do not accept those license and “terms and conditions” of those specific software. You agree that I may download and utilize Software from third party and accept any applicable license, agreements, and “terms and conditions” on your behalf. You acknowledge and agree that I may download and install trial software that will expire after certain period of time and will stop functioning. I usually uninstall all or part of the software I install, but not obligated to do so. I may or may not uninstall them from your computer after my services have completed or cancellation or services. I may suggest you to use some software for benefit of your computer. You are solely responsible for use of those software and we do not take any responsibility of any types.


Warranty

In certain situation, my services may not be successful due to system limitation, limited resources, and for other limitations. Some situation may be out of our scope and I may not be able to solve your problems. In these cases, I will not charge you a fee for our services (Except for laptop repairs that requires disassembly of laptop) and/ or refund your payment if made in advance. I guarantee my work at the time of services. I will make sure I solve problems as I promised or I will not charge you a fee. Certainly, I give no warranty of my services. I take no responsibility of any services I provide after the transaction has been completed. I take no responsibility of any problems that may occur in the future. You are responsible for maintaining your computer system and other peripheral in a good order. For example, I may charge you to remove viruses from your computer and make it run faster, but if you get more viruses in the future or if your computer becomes slow near future, I'm not responsible for it. As a courtesy of my services, If you experience a problem with the resolution I provided and you let me know within 3 (three) days from the day you originally received the Services, I may try to solve the problem without any further charge or fee, but I'm not in any way obligated to provide such services. The services I provide are “as is” and have no guaranties and warranties of any kind to be successful, complete, useful, reliable and so on. By receiving my services and accepting my “Terms & Conditions,” you take all the responsibilities of any type of harms and damages to your computer hardware, software, data, and any type of files and equipments associated with my services. If you do not agree with these terms you may not order and/ or receive "Kilobyte PC's" services.


Backing up you Data

I do not backup your data, files, programs prior to providing any services except for “Data Backup” service which can be ordered separately. I take no responsibilities for losing your data, file, programs under any circumstances, for any reasons at any time. You are responsible for backing up your data and other files prior to receive any service from us.


Service Availability

Some or all of my services may not always be available in your area due to many circumstances. I may refuse to provide my services at any time for any reason.


Security

I'm not responsible unauthorized access of your information such as personal information, data, credit card information etc. I can not give you 100% guarantee of security when you transmit your data over the internet especially for payments and remote services.
